Lauren’s Tips
  • Steam Dry: After parboiling, let the potatoes steam dry for a few minutes to remove any excess moisture. Dry potatoes will crisp up better in the air fryer, so don’t skip this step if you’re parboiling.
  • Don’t Overcrowd the Basket: As with anything you cook in the air fryer, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. This allows air to circulate around each potato piece, which makes them even crispier. Use both drawers or cook in batches if necessary  & don't forget to remove the crisper plate!
  • Serve Straight Away: Air fryer roast potatoes are at their crispiest right after cooking, so serve them immediately. The longer they sit, the more likely they’ll soften as they cool.
  • Use A Different Fat: For extra special potatoes, why not try using duck fat or goose fat instead of olive oil?
